Victor Olowe – Founder and Director

Victor is a leadership consultant with experience of identifying and mitigating strategic risks to consumers of legal services. In addition, he is currently a non executive member on a number of committees/boards.

He was Chief Executive of the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) for five years until 2012. Victor successfully led the CLC through a period of significant change and strengthened its operational capability and re‐structured the governance arrangements of the organisation.

Significantly, he oversaw the CLC’s successful application to become the first Licensing Authority for Alternative Business Structures (including the development of the outcomes focused and principles based regulatory approach) thus placing the CLC in a healthy position to face the future.

Prior to joining the CLC, Victor was the Head of Practice Standards at the Law Society/Solicitors Regulation Authority for five years, responsible for setting up the Practice Standards Unit with the objective to help legal firms to improve standards of practice through the promotion of client care and practice excellence.

Victor’s previous roles include Quality Manager with Pictons Solicitors and Liaison Manager at the former Legal Aid Board, now the Legal Services Commission.

Having worked in legal services for over 20 years including senior roles at the CLC and SRA he has gained a unique perspective on the strategic challenges facing small and medium sized firms particularly with regard to customer service and the management of change
